I heard a bitter-sweet story on the radio this weekend
Monty Norman composed the theme tune for the Bond movies (John Barry arranged it)
The tune had originally been written for a proposed musical based on A House for Mr Biswas
The musical was abandoned because they realised that it would be impossible to assemble a purely black & Indian cast
