Abbreviated purchases

When I was taking a close interest in supermarket receipts & VAT I started to take note of the strange abbreviations used for some items. I expect I knew what they were at the time, but many just leave me bemused now

Which makes me wonder what a Telegraph journalist would have made of them if my receipts were of as much interest as an MPs - or how many guilty secrets he might have missed
